Welcome!

I've blogged for a while, but opted to start a new space for writing that allows me to be a bit more anonymous. As my husband and I continue to build our little nest we'll enter phases of our life that I'm happy to write about...but I don't feel as though I need to broadcast either of our names in relationship to the stories I share.

For those of you who know me, Olivae is a fitting title for this blog. The little fruit is one of my favorite things to eat. I really wanted to go with Olives and Figs, but it and all variations on it were taken. I opted for the Latin version of olives and dropped the "figs" because the phonetic pronunciation of figs sounds a little too similar to feces. Ick.
